Getting involved

To encourage greater community involvement, Australian organisations can become an Australian partner organisation. This includes government departments, educational institutions, non government organisations (NGOs) and private sector enterprises.

This is a great way for Australian organisations to develop new relationships with organisations overseas, or to strengthen existing links. Working with the volunteer service providers, Australian partner organisations can collaborate with a host organisation to develop an appropriate assignment linked to their organisation's skills and experience. Australian partner organisations can also propose an appropriately qualified candidate (such as a member of their staff) to enter the competitive recruitment process managed by the volunteer service provider.
