Through the Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID) program, an Australian Government, AusAID initiative, everyday Australians are making amazing contributions to improving the livelihoods of hundreds of developing communities around the globe.

To share in their adventures, triumphs and tribulations, we'd like to invite you to attend the next lot of our AVID Volunteer Stories evenings, visiting a town and/or a city near you soon.

The events are open to anyone to attend - whether you've always wanted to become an international volunteer or would just like to hear their incredible stories. Learn about how volunteering can be for all age groups and professions and how volunteers are supported while in country.
